Welcome to the technical support pages for PortfolioMaker.ca. Some frequently asked questions are below. If you are unable to find the answer to your questions, please send an email to support@portfoliomaker.ca and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Q. I just created an account, and now I can't find my password?

A. Once you create an account, your password is emailed to the email address that you entered when you registered. We do this to verify that your email address is a valid email address. Simply check your email and you should find the password.

Q. What kind of browser do I need to use PortfolioMaker.ca?

A. PortfolioMaker.ca is designed to run on Internet Explorer 4.0 and higher, as well as Netscape Navigator 4.0 and higher. It will work best however, with the most recent browsers.

Please note, that if you intend on downloading your Portfolio and customizing it further, you will require a word processor.

Q. What operating system do I need to surf the site?

A. The site is has been tested on Macintosh and Windows, but if you are using another operating system such as Linux, it probably will work, as long as you have one of the supported browsers.

Q. I want to download my Portfolio and edit it myself, what software do I need?

A. The file that is downloaded is an HTML file, so in order to edit it on your own, you will need a word processor that is capable of opening files of that type. Microsoft Word 98 and higher, as well as Corel WordPerfect XX will both work.
